1950s Vintage Royal Hawaiian Tapa Print Rayon Circle Skirt Halter Dress & Shawl
This vintage Royal Hawaiian tapa print rayon circle skirt halter dress and stole shawl dates from the 1950s. It is made of a bright varying shades of blue and green Hawaiian tapa cloth print rayon fabric. This retro Hawaiian summer sun dress has a halter top style with adjustable neck tie, button trim on the neckline, a full circle skirt and back zipper closure. There are stays boning sewn inside the top and a "Royal Hawaiian Quality Garments Made in Honolulu Made in Hawaii' label. The dress measures 52 inches long, with a 24 inch waist and 38 inch bust. There is a matching fabric cape style shawl stole lined and backed in a chartreuse rayon fabric. The shawl measures 64 inches long and 12 inches wide. The outfit is in good wearable condition, with only a couple of small faint age spots on the bottom skirt. This is truly a wonderful piece of collectable Hawaiiana vintage textile art!
