This antique Edwardian era soutache work cream wool winter cloak cape coat jacket dates from 1905. It is made of a off white cream color soft wool fabric, with ecru raised soutache embroidery work done in scrolling spiral decorative designs. This wonderful winter cloak cape coat is a long floor length, with a layered tiered design, arm hole openings, an open front with no closure and the original lining is missing inside. The cloaks three tiered layers measure 48 inches long, 38 inches long and the shorter cape 16 inches long, with 50 inch hips, a 44 inch waist and 38 inch bust. It is in good condition, with only a few tiny moth hole nip holes and light faint staining along the bottom hem. This is truly a quality made piece of wearable antique textile art!
