This amazing Art Deco vintage black net beaded embroidered applique Made in France flapper dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of a sheer black net fabric, with silver steel cut and black jet beading. There are large colorful silk embroidered rose flower leaf applique trim outlined in beading, with gold metallic thread accents sewn along the top and bottom. This fabulous flapper dress evening gown has a long floor length loose fitting straight shift chemise drop waist style, is sleeveless, sheer, unlined and has a "Made in France" label sewn inside. The dress measures 52 inches long, with 40 inch hips, a 38 inch waist and 36 inch bust. It is in good condition, with only a few small frayed holes on the skirt waist and some loose beaded appliques. This is truly a beautiful beaded quality French made piece of Art Deco wearable art!
