This antique Edwardian era white Irish crochet lace middy shirt blouse dates from 1915. It is made of a white Irish crochet lace with raised three dimensional flower, leaf designs, connecting thread picot ornamented bars and detailed meshwork. This beautiful blouse has a middy cropped shirt style, with a sheer net trim skirted bottom and inside lining, a squared scoop front neckline, with lace sailor collar back, 3/4 length long sleeves and snap closures along the front side. The blouse measures 17 inches long, with a 28 inch waist, 34 inch bust, 14 inch back and 15 inch long sleeves. It is in good condition, but has not been cleaned with some faint discoloration on the front neckline. This is truly an exquisite piece of antique textile lace wearable art!
