This vintage cotton Caribbean African women novelty print circle skirt halter dress and jacket dates from the 1950s. It is made of a orange, gold, brown, black and white cotton fabric, with a colorful Caribbean novelty print design of tribal ethnic African women, children dancing, playing musical instruments and relaxing. This retro summer sun dress has a halter top with brass studs, rhinestone beading around the neckline, a full circle skirt, matching fabric belt, buckle and back zipper closure. The dress measures 40 inches long, with a 30 inch waist and 36 inch bust. There is a golden yellow cotton fabric short cropped sleeveless jacket blouse top, with fold over collar and button closure waist. The top measures 16 inches long, with a 30 inch waist and 42 inch bust. It is in good condition and the back neck strap has been altered adding an elastic band. This is truly a wonderful piece of collectible Caribbean vintage textile art!
