This vintage Chinese cheongsam dress hand beaded sequin white and red phoenix bird dates from the 1960s. It is made of a completely covered hand beaded iridescent white sequin fabric, with a red sequin glass beaded outlined flying phoenix bird and swirled spiral flame designs down the front. This beautiful beaded cheongsam Chinese dress has an hour glass, sheath form fitting style, is a long floor length, with 26 inch high side slits, a mandarin style stand up collar, long sleeves, back zipper closure and is fully lined inside in a white silky nylon fabric. The dress measures 55 inches long, with 36 inch hips, a 25 inch waist, 32 inch bust, 20 inch long sleeves and 14 inch neck. It is in good condition, with only some slight faint yellowing discoloration along the sequined shoulders. This is truly a rare and wonderful piece of custom made Asian showgirl burlesque performer wearable beaded textile art!
