This vintage Edwardian era moire pattern print white batiste lace dress blouse and skirt dates from 1910. It is made of an off white sheer fine delicate cotton batiste fabric, with a red, green moire pattern print and white lace trim inserts. This stunning summertime two piece gown has a pouter pigeon puffed front billowing blouse top, fitted skirted peplum waist, long full sleeves with lace trimmed cuffs, a lace front yoke high collar neckline, hook closures down the back and is sheer, unlined. The top measures 20 inches long, with a 28 inch waist, 36 inch bust, 10 inch neck and 17 inch long sleeves. There is a matching moire patterned fabric long floor length full skirt with ruffle trim hemline, fitted waistband with back hook closures and is sheer, unlined. The skirt measures 39 inches long, with a 26 inch waist. It is in fair as-is condition, needing some restoration, with several small frayed holes on both the blouse and skirt (see close-up). This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable antique lace textile art which would be great for design!
