This antique Victorian era Bent & Bush of Boston black beaver opera top hat dates from the 1890s. It is made of a plush black felted beaver fur, with a black silk ribbon hat band trim and brim edging. This dashing dapper gentlemen's opera "topper" top hat is lined inside with white silk and printed with a "Bent and Bush of Boston 387 Washington St." label. The hat measures 6 inches tall and a 22 inch inside crown circumference. This rare American made Bent & Bush quality made top hat is in good wearable condition, with only some slight wear around the top crown and brim edging. The inside lining is a bit soiled. It is truly a rare and wonderful find!
