This antique Victorian era woven black straw, lace, sequin, white flower trim bonnet hat dates from the 1880s. It is made of a black tulle net fabric, with black woven straw, sequin beading, black lace trim and white silk flower trimming the top. This beautiful bonnet has a tall front brim framing the face, black silk ribbon ties for securing under the chin and is fully lined with a black silk fabric inside. The bonnet measures 10 inches tall, 9 inches wide, with a 6 inch wide inside crown. It is in good condition, with a few loose missing sequins and some slight fraying on the silk ribbon ties. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable antique mourning Victoriana millinery art. $100 |
