This unique women's winter bonnet hood headdress would have been worn for travel in a sled or carriage and has a head scarf style with long lappet end ties, a triangle shape top covering the head with back bottom gathering along the curtain drape, a purple silk ribbon bow trim on the bottom back and is unlined. The bonnet measures 16 inches long from top to bottom and 33 inches wide across including the lappet ties when laying flat. It is in excellent condition.
