Art Deco Black Leather Silver Buckle Flapper Shoes. |
This pair of vintage black leather silver buckle flapper shoes date from the roaring 1920s. They are made of a two tone, black suede back and black patent leather front. There are decorative cut out pierced sides and a silver plate shield buckle trim covering the button closures. These stunning mary jane style dance shoes have a button strap closure across the instep front vamp and a 2 inch high cube heel. There is remnants of a silver lamé label inside (see close-up). The shoes measure 10 inches long and 2 1/2 inches wide. My guess on size would be about a 6 or 7 narrow width. They are in excellent wearable condition and have been gently worn. $100 |
