This pair of antique Edwardian era bronze beaded button strap mary jane shoes date from 1910. They are made of a dark brown leather with bronze beading on the front vamps and instep strap. These beautiful beaded Mary Jane style shoes have a single brown button beaded strap across the instep for closure, exaggerated pointed toes and a 2 inch high low Louis XV French heel. They are embossed in gold lettering inside "Thayer McNeil & Hodgkins 47 Temple Place Boston". The shoes measure 10 inches long and 2 1/2 inches wide and are approximately a size 6 narrow width. They are in good condition and have been gently worn, with some minor scuffing on the front toes. There is some slight rust on the front beading of one shoe. $150 |
