This pair of antique Victorian era white kid leather bow trim silk ribbon ties wedding shoes date from the 1880s. They are made of a soft white kid leather, with decorative leather bow petal trim on the front instep vamps. These beautiful bridal wedding shoes have a slip on slipper style, with pointed toes, silk damask ribbon lacing ties, a low leather covered French Louis XV heel and cotton twill lining inside. The shoes measure 10 inches long, 2 1/2 inches wide and a 1 1/2 inch high heel. They are in good condition, have been gently worn, with some staining, flaking and missing leather on the back of the high heels (see close-up). These delicate wedding slippers were reserved for indoor wear, evening dress or special occasions and would make for a great display piece! They are truly a wonderful piece of antique Victoriana bridal wedding shoe art!
