This pair of antique Victorian era womens black wool and leather high top button boots Clarice TC Shoe Co. date from 1900. They are made of a black patent leather bottom front shoe, with a black wool fabric top. The boots have rounded toes, 14 black shoe buttons along the side for closure and stacked black wooden low French spool heels. There is a "Clarice TC Shoe Co." label sewn inside the top and are stamped inside 37-2. The boots measure 8 inches tall, 10 inches long, 3 inches wide, with 2 inch high heels. These antique boots are difficult to size for today's foot, but my guess would be about a US size 6 or 7 narrow width. They have been gently worn and are in good wearable condition, with only some creasing along the leather instep, toes, some dust on the wool fabric and the buttons have been moved over to be made larger leaving tiny pin holes along the sides. These are truly a beautiful quality made antique boot!
