This vintage purple silk floral print parasol umbrella dates from the 1930s. It is made of a colorful purple, teal, yellow, black and white silk fabric with a fanciful floral print pattern and purple silk lining underneath. There is a carved inlaid wooden handle and finial top with metal tip and matching silk print fabric gathered trim accents. The parasol measures 38 inches long and is 100 inches in circumference when opened. It is in good useable condition, with only some splits in the silk lining and a small crack in the wood handle which has a slight bend. This pretty parasol umbrella is reminiscent of the Edwardian era and is simply striking.
